REGISTER FOR PROGRAMMING

Open to boys and girls

Gene Slay’s Girls & Boys Club is an exciting place to meet new friends and have fun. Open to kids ages 6 to 16, members can participate in tutoring, sports, activities, crafts, and games. The Girls & Boys Club is the perfect place to hang out afterschool or even spend the entire summer. COVID-19 Protocols

As long as conditions permit, visitors are allowed on our campuses. All visitors must follow GSGBC’s public health requirements while visiting. Temperatures will be taken at arrival. Program Staff will remind visitors of the current requirements.

Your health and safety are important to us. Masks are required at indoor gatherings for everyone, regardless of vaccination status or the size of a meeting or gathering. Masks are not required when an individual is while eating or drinking, allowing for personal space as much as possible. Masks are required in open office settings such as cubicles. Masks are encouraged but not required for outdoor activities, particularly at large events or in crowded settings.

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you or your refrain from visiting the campus. We have access to online services to facilitate any meeting or needed instructions.

Your health, the health of our members and staff are our first concern.

After School Program

Program Information

When: August 22, 2022 – May 25, 2023 | Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Who: Ages 6 (and have completed kindergarten) to 16.

Cost: We utilize a sliding fee scale based on your self-reported household income and family size. We will conduct a fee assessment upon registration to determine your monthly fee. There is no fee to register and scholarships are available.

Program Offerings Include: 

-Soccer, Basketball, Girls on the Run, and Fitness Club

-Tutoring & Homework Assistance

-Scouts

-Chess

-Cooking

-Drama

-Drumming

-Art and more!

Snack and Dinner provided each day.

How to apply:

  • Complete afterschool registration online or visit either of our locations
  • Complete Scholarship Application, if necessary
  • Birth certificate for 6- & 7-year-olds
  • Most recent report card
  • Immunization record
  • Special Care Plan (Asthma, IEP, etc.)
  • Record of allergies, medications, etc.
  • Additional forms, may be required

Summer Camp 2023

Program Information

When: June 5 – July 28, 2023 | Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

7 am Early Drop-Off is available for additional fee of $125

We are closed for Juneteenth and 4th of July

Who: Ages 6 (and have completed Kindergarten) to 16

Cost: $360 (We offer a sliding fee scale and scholarships)

How to apply:
  • Complete Summer Camp registration online or at either of our campus’s
  • Complete scholarship application, if necessary
  • Submit the following documentation:
    • Birth certificate for 6- & 7-year-olds
    • Most recent report card
    • Immunization record
    • Special Care Plan (Asthma, IEP, etc.)
    • Record of allergies, medications, etc.

If a child has asthma or severe allergies , parents must provide us with an inhaler or EpiPen before that child can attend.  They can bring it the first day the child attends.
